Acer Aspire 6530 Laptop

Acer Aspire 6530 Laptop is a multimedia-focused device. It has a 16” TFT screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. This is high definition, but it would have been much better with a Full HD resolution. Putting a toe out of the regular line, this laptop uses the AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-64 processor which clocks at 2.1GHz. There is a 3GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive housed in this machine. A DVD drive is integrated as well. The major highlight among the multimedia aspects is the using of ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics processor for handling graphics. The operating system that comes pre-loaded is the Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium.

This mobile computer incorporates a VGA output, an HDMI output, 4 USB ports, a PC card slot, an Ethernet connection and speakers. It supports WiFi for internet connection apart from wired Ethernet. One downside is that Bluetooth compatibility is not offered.

The Acer Aspire 6530 16” Laptop comes in blue, grey and black coloured cases. It weighs 3.4kg. The battery life offered is about 2 hours for less power-consumption applications. For the power-hogging applications, much lower life is offered. Unlike other entertainment laptops, which can burn a hole in your pocket, this one is much more affordable. It has been priced at £480!
