Acer Aspire One Netbook

Acer recently presented their new 10.1” Acer Aspire One Netbook, which has been designed for those people who are always on the move, and who need to be online all the time, either for socialising or for work.

This netbook uses an Intel Atom processor for internal processing. It gives the option of using either the Mobile Intel 945GSE Express Chipset or the Mobile Intel 82801GBM Chipset as well. The DDR RAM size is 2 GB and internal hard drive size is 160GB. There is also a multi-in-one card reader for memory extension.

This mobile computer comes with Windows XP Home OS. The other pre-installed softwares are Acer Launch Manager, Acer eRecovery Management, Adobe Reader, Microsoft Office Trial 2007 and McAfee Internet Security Suite.

This stylish looking netbook is available in 4 colours – white, black, red and blue. It is slim and well stream-lined. The brushed metal palm rest of this netbook, prevents fingerprints marks, while holding it. The entire device is powered by a 6-cell Lithium ion battery which can give a maximum of 7 hours of life. Connectivity choices include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WiMAX or 3G wireless technologies.

The screen of this netbook, offers a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, which gives a broader view for optimal web-browsing. This small laptop also features an integrated Acer Crystal Eye webcam, which is designed for good photography even in dim lighting conditions. With refined looks, compact structure, a light weight of just 1.18kg, Acer Aspire One Netbook features necessary components and specifications for staying connected to the net, during travel round the clock.
