Acer TravelMate Timeline Laptops

Acer’s new line of laptops, the TravelMate Timeline 8000 series, highlights portability, long battery lives and slim design. The 3 basic models featured in this series are the 8571, the 8471 and the 8371.
All three Acer laptops present battery lives of above 8 hours, making them highly suitable for travels or a long day at work. Ultra-low voltage Intel processors power up these laptops from the insides. A maximum of 4GB RAM is allowed in each of the trio. There is as well an option between a maximum of 500GB hard drive or an 80GB solid state drive. The basic models however come with a 3GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive.
The PowerSmart technology has been implemented in all three laptops, that helps enhance battery life. For handling graphics, you can even choose to incorporate the ATI Mobility Radeon graphics accelerator. 3G wireless capability is also expected to be featured in the future.
The Acer TravelMate Timeline 8571 Laptop has a 15.6” LED screen. It is priced at £609. The Acer TravelMate Timeline 8471 Laptop sports a 14” LED display and costs £599. The Acer TravelMate Timeline 8371 Laptop features a 13.3” LED monitor and carries a price tag of £579. Hope they all do come out with some exciting offers too.
