The Advent Verona Notebook is a 13.3-inch workstation which is budget friendly. It is powered by the ultra-low voltage Intel Celeron 743 1.3GHz processor. It comes fitted with a 3GB RAM, which can be expanded to 4GB for better performance. A 250GB hard drive comes integrated within too. Graphics is handled by the Intel GMA 4500MHD GPU. This laptop ships with the Windows 7 Home Premium edition pre-installed.
The 13.3″ screen of this notebook has a high definition resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It supports WiFi for internet connectivity. Even Ethernet LAN is available for getting online. There are 3 USB ports for inter-device linking. Even Bluetooth is supported for wireless communication with other gadgets. This notebook also houses speakers. It boasts a long battery life as well.
With a 1.6kg weight, the Advent Verona Laptop does make an easily portable computation device. The light grey lid and palm rest, with darker grey patterns on them does give this notebook unique aesthetics. It is slim, attractive, light, affordable and has a decent battery life (because of the ULV processor it employs), and hence can make an ideal workstation for students.
