The new iBook comes in a 12.1 and a14.1 inch active matrix screen that offers a display resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The new Apple iBook laptop comes in three specifications. A model of Apple iBook notebook computer comes with an Intel PowerPC G3 processor that has a speed of 700 MHz with 512 on-chip level 2 cache. It features a 14.1-inch active matrix TFT display screen, 256 MB of SD RAM, a 30 GB Ultra ATA hard drive and a DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo optical drive. One more Apple iBook is available with an Intel PowerPC G3 processor with 512K on-chip level 2 cache and a processor speed of 600 MHz. This too has a TFT active matrix display screen that is 12.1 in size when measured diagonally. It supports a 128 MB of SDRAM, 20 GB Ultra ATA hard-drive and a CD-ROM optical drive. A Lithium Ion battery that offers excellent battery lifetime for the system supports the Apple iBook. The Apple iBook also offers a new ATI Mobility Radeon graphics controller with 16 MB RAM and AGP 2X for enhanced graphic features. The new Apple iBook also supports USB ports as well as Fire Wire ports. The other major features of the Apple iBook include Air Port which is ready with integrated antennae and card slot that supports wireless Internet access, a built-in microphone, built in stereo speakers, Bluetooth compatibility and 802.11b that is used or wireless internet. The new Apple iBook also supports data link protocols like Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and Air Port Extreme. It also features integrated wireless LAN and also an integrated modem.
