The New Apple MacBook 13.3″ Notebook

Apple is back in action. They have launched their latest laptop – the Apple MacBook Notebook. This is a unibody device made of polycarbonate. It has a 13.3” screen, which has a native resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9. This glossy display is illuminated by LED backlights. Graphics processing is taken care of by the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor.

Let’s take a peek inside this mobile computer. It is empowered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor which clocks at a rate of 2.26GHz. A 2GB DDR3 RAM backs this up. The RAM can be extended to a maximum of 4GB if required as well. The standard model comes integrated with a 250GB hard drive. You can even opt for higher capacity drives, like 320GB or 500GB, which will increase the price of the laptop deal. A slot loading DVD drive also comes built into this Apple laptop. The Mac OS powers up this Notebook.

Internet communication is possible either with WiFi at hotspots or using wired Ethernet LAN. Data exchange with other devices can be done using Bluetooth, the 2 USB 2.0 ports and more. There is a Mini DisplayPort housed in this laptop. You can use suitable adapters to get DVI output, VGA output and dual-link DVI output. The MagSafe power connector, the Kensington lock and the audio jacks are the other interfaces packed in this portable PC. There are stereo speakers built in. An iSight camera is fitted in too. No FireWire port this time.

The latest Apple MacBook Notebook weighs 2.13kg. It comes with a built in battery, which boasts of a 7-hour life. This new MacBook has a price tag of £799.

It ships with the Intel Core 2 Duo 1.4GHz processor, a maximum of 8GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive, Windows Vista, Intel GMA 4500MHD, WiFi, Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth, 3 USB ports, D Sub output, Acer EasyPort IV connector, 8 hours of life. This portable PC is priced at £700.
