Microsoft’s Ahead Of Apple In The Tablet Race With Courier

Just take a look at the Gizmodo video and the picture below, and you’ll surely be impressed by the secret project (that’s no longer a secret now) that Microsoft has been working on. It is a dual touchscreen tablet called the Courier.

This dual screen tablet, which looks like the Asus Dual Panel Notebook, has two 7″ multi-touch displays. You can use both your finger as well as a stylus to work on the Courier. Gestures and actions like flipping the page, scrolling, zooming, copying, pasting, writing all seem very simple. There is a 3 Megapixel camera with flash and 4x zoom housed in this device. A single Home button is available too, which sits in between both the screens, which are hinged together. The device can be closed to look like a real notebook.

Unlike Apple’s tablet, that has only been heard of, but not seen, the Microsoft Courier seems like it will surely make its way to the market. The specifications of this tablet are eagerly awaited. So are details like availability, price, offers and deals.
