The Asus EEE PC 1201T Netbook is a decently spec’d and easy to carry around device. It weighs just about 1.45kg. And the best part of this mini laptop is its price.
It sports a 12.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The screen is glossy and offers LED backlighting. Internally this netbook is powered by the AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor, which clocks at 1.6GHz. The RAM that ships with the device is a 2GB one, while there is provision to upgrade to a 4GB one. There is a 250GB hard drive packed within. Plus, the laptop offer also includes 500GB of online storage free for a year. Graphics is handled by the ATI Radeon HD 3200 GPU.
The Asus EEE PC 1201T is equipped with 3 USB ports, a VGA port, a Kensington lock, audio jacks – headphone & microphone and a card reader (for SD, SDHC and MMC). Both wired Gigabit LAN and WiFi are supported for internet connectivity. Bluetooth is however not integrated.
You can expect a runtime life of about 4-5 hours with this netbook.
