The well-known laptop manufacture group ASUS has released their latest Asus K61IC-A2 16 Inch Black Laptop for home use in a comfortable and easy way. It is highlighted with 16″ diagonal widescreen LCD which delivers 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. The processor used is Core 2 duo processor manufactured by the famous hardware manufacturing group INTEL with a speed of 2.53 GHz. The processor is the main hardware part which is responsible for the speed and dynamic response of the system. The Processor maintains a clock frequency of 2.53 GHz and the processor number P8700. The clock frequency is the frequency rate at which the basic instruction life cycle runs. The front side bus is 1066MHz which is enough for handling the data transactions smoothly and it has a 3MB L2 cache which furnishes the dynamic data storages
The laptop is furnished with DDR2 SD RAM of 4GB memory with a speed of 800MHz. The graphics support is provided by NVidia GT 220MB graphics featured with 1GB of dynamically allocated shared graphics memory. The laptop comes with 320GB SATA hard drive of 7200 rpm which can store up to 90,000 photos, or up to 79,000 songs, or up to 38 hours of HD video. The CD/DVD option is expanded with Blu-ray disk/DVD±RW combo drive which is configured to play Blue-ray movies and burns CDs or DVDs in a variety of formats. Audio Output Type of the new ASUS K61IC-A2 is specially enhanced with the Speaker(s) as it is designed for home use and it is featured with PC platform operating system strategy.
This Asus K61IC-A2 Laptop comes with Integrated Video Camera and the extra features which enhances the network performance. The networking process is well equipped with Integrated 10/100/1000 Network card. The Mobile technology used is Wi-Fi to compromise with current requirements on the grounds of mobile communication. The Integrated Wireless LAN connects wirelessly to a broadband modem (cable or DSL) or to Wi-Fi hotspots using an 802.11b/g card. 10/100 Ethernet LAN device connects to a broadband modem (cable or DSL) or a network using a wired RJ-45 port which strictly obeys and works on the data Link Protocols such as Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet.
The additional features given to polish the performance and maintainability is Four USB 2.0 ports as the Universal Serial Bus is now used regularly to the connect almost all external peripherals and VGA video output and an HDMI port. The battery backup is assured with 6-cell rechargeable lithium-ion battery that operates computer for up to 2 hours and 27 minutes between charges. Two more ports are there on board to accommodate microphone and headphone. Surely this laptop is designed so as to meet the requirements of a home based user and it has succeeded.
