Hello, I’m Bridgette and I’m a writer. Novelist actually. I’m at the park bench now, working on my latest novel. I haven’t named it yet. It’s a thriller. I’m trying out this new genre for the first time. I hope it comes out well. And, oh, let me tell you what I meant to say. I bought a new laptop for this new venture. Its the Asus N10. Let me tell you about it. The Asus N10 10.2 Inch Laptop is such a good looker. I just love the glossy look. Being a writer, the main thing that I look for in a laptop, apart from performance is ease of typing.
I’m able to type quite comfortably, the keys of the QWERTY keyboard are well spaced and I could type fast enough to match the flow of words from my head! Last evening, I wrote a very good chapter and I attribute it to the Asus N10, for it kept up to my pace and didn’t slow me one bit. I could store quite a lot, thanks to the 2GB of RAM. Also, my Asus N10 Ultraportable Laptop works on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU and has a hard drive of 250GB. It has Wi-Fi connectivity, an NVIDIA’s GeForce 9300M GS for graphics and a fingerprint reader. Oh, here comes Maria. “Hey, Good morning Maria!”
“Oh, Hello Bridgette. Working?” “Yes, I am…It’s a thriller this time” “Hey, I cant wait to read it! Is this laptop new? Looks good! I see it has Windows Vista Business. Hey Brig, is the laptop good for playing movies?”
“Yes Maria, my Asus N10 can play high-definition movies and 3D games. You can also browse the internet comfortably with the 1024×600 pixels screen and I even worked with two windows side by side.”
“That’s nice Bridgette. What about audio?” “The sound quality is good Maria. The other day, I played my favourite collection and the sound from the internal speakers was very good. The sound filled my entire room. The internal speakers are from Altec Lansing. I even connected my surround-sound speakers in the N10’s S/PDIF jack”
“And Bluetooth?” “The N10 has Bluetooth connectivity too.” said Bridgette with a smile. The ladies then walked to a near-by cafe and ordered Blueberry muffins and tea. Bridgette, who was talking on about her novel’s plot said, “Hey Maria, I just love the fingerprint reader of my N10. Look, I’ll show you. All I have to do is swipe my finger across the reader to get authenticated. And the webcam is interesting too. It can also authenticate my login as it is linked to a face-recognition software. Isn’t that interesting?”
Maria agreed and said, “Thats a cool feature. How long does the battery last, Brig?” “Well, it’s almost two hours since I charged it. It’ll run for another forty-five minutes.” “Thats quite impressive!” said Maria. After the snack, Maria dropped off Bridgette at her place to continue her writing. “Hey good luck on your novel Brig. And, please, don’t include me as a character okay?” she added with a chuckle. “And I love your Asus N10 Laptop. Its affordable and power-packed.” saying this, she left the writer to play with her imagination.
