Averatec N3400 Notebook

Averatec N3400 Notebook - LaptopReviews.org.ukAveratec N3400 Notebook PC has been designed in the likes of the Apple MackBooks, with an aluminum body. Hence it is a light mobile computer, weighing just 1.7kg for a 13” screen laptop. Ultraportable, stylish, yet affordable, this notebook seems all set to take on the laptop market.

An Intel dual core processor which clocks at 2.16GHz has been employed. A 3GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive are present in this device. The Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium OS comes pre-loaded in this ultra-portable PC. A DVD drive is not built into this workstation. However, it comes with an external super-multi DVD optical drive, which can be connected via USB. Graphics is handled by the Intel GMA X4500HD card.

Since WiFi is supported, you can connect to the internet at WiFi hotspots. Wired Ethernet connectivity is supported as well. Its Bluetooth capability allows wireless data transfers to other compatible devices also. 3 USB ports, a VGA output and a 4-in-1 memory card reader are packed into this mini laptop too.

TriGem, the manufacturer of the Averatec N3400 13” Notebook, have not yet mentioned about the battery life that this device would offer. However, its price in the US is known. It is supposed to sell at $799. A UK release is expected, but, date and price are still a mystery. Hope it comes with some exciting offers and deals.

The touchpad on the N3400 had little friction, and is fairly spacious for a 13-inch system. Two rows of icons on the top and bottom of the pad can be used as quick-launch keys to adjust the volume, open e-mail, launch the Web browser, or perform user-defined actions. Laptop computers sales

badly the N3400 doesn’t have an internal optical drive, the notebook ships with an external DVD burner.
