Yes, the world’s first all tablet PC is here. Made by a Singapore company called Fusion Garage, the CrunchPad Tablet PC is expecting a release during November this year.

This tablet has an all touchscreen which measures 12” diagonally and no physical keyboard. It thus looks like a notebook with no keyboard. However, there is a USB port, which allows plugging in a mouse or a keyboard.

On the technical front, this device has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor and a 1GB RAM. A native OS has been developed to run on this all-touchscreen PC. It has been specifically designed to work with the web. Browsing the internet, watching YouTube videos, editing documents, listening to music can all be done with this tablet. You can use the virtual keyboard for keying in the input as well. There is an accelerometer for rotating the display.

When editing a document, the software will be used directly from the internet and changes made will be saved via the internet again. WiFi capability is offered. This tablet PC is 3G ready too. There is provision for using mobile broadband as well.

The CrunchPad Touchscreen Tablet measures 12.77” X 7.83” X 0.74” and weighs 1.2kg. Pricing details have not yet been announced, but we hope it comes with exciting Christmas offers and deals.
