This small laptop has some unique features that are praiseworthy. First of all it has a handle, enabling it to be carried around with ease. The idea of a rough and tough notebook PC might give the notion of a heavy weight device. However, that’s not the case with this mobile computer. Though built to be a strong workstation, it is quite light, weighing just 1.66kg. There are some more noteworthy aspects about this machine. A brief account is given below.
A walk down technical specifications lane reveals the use of an Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 2.26GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, 160GB of SATA hard drive, a choice between Microsoft Windows Vista or XP for OS and an Intel graphics chip. The Panasonic ToughBook CF-F8 sports a 14.1” 1280 x 800 pixels screen. Wide viewing angles are presented by this display too. This notebook supports WiFi 802.11n standard, Ethernet connectivity and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR. There is DVD drive built into this ToughBook. It is located at the right hand palm rest area. A button on the edge of the same side flip opens the lid of the drive, when pressed. The track-pad is circular unlike the square ones featured in most laptops. This track-pad is supposed to be highly responsive too. With a sufficiently long battery life of over 5 hours, the Panasonic ToughBook CF-F8 can make a good mobile computer during your journeys.
Taking a look at what makes the Panasonic ToughBook CF-F8, a real toughbook - its lid is supposed to withstand 100kg of pressure without getting the screen damaged. It is as well expected to continue to work after a drop from a height of 76cm. The case is made of magnesium alloy. The internal delicate parts of this notebook have been protected well, so that any liquid that accidentally spills on it, will not damage them. Instead, the liquid will leak out from the bottom. The Panasonic ToughBook CF-F8 Lightest Business Notebook is currently available for sale in many UK laptop outlets. Lets keep fingers crossed for some good deals and exciting offers with this device.
