When it comes to laptops and netbooks, the pioneers already present out there. However, unboxing the Nokia Booklet 3G is something that will grab special attention, as it is the maiden laptop venture of the top-ranking mobile phone maker.
Specifications-wise, the Nokia netbook is surely very impressive. It has managed to create a niche for itself, due to some of its rare features. This 10.1” 1280 x 720 pixels screen laptop manages to pack in a promising set of components. An Intel Atom processor, a 1GB RAM, a 120GB hard drive, the Windows 7 OS empower this netbook.
WiFi, Ethernet connectivity and Bluetooth handle networking. This netbook offers 3G (for certain markets only) support for fast internet access too. Even GPS is supported. A 12-hour battery life is promised as well.

The Nokia World Event held this year has definitely been very special for Nokia. For the very first time, this mobile phone manufacturer has set foot into the netbook arena. The Nokia Booklet 3G has been making headlines, since its unveiling during the event. The glossy case and neat design truly reflect good craftsmanship. It is just 1.9cm thick. This adds to its style too. This laptop will soon be here to charm everyone in black, ice and azure shades.
It has a 10.1” anti-glare display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The specialty here is the high definition resolution of this screen. Many other netbooks available in the market like MSI Wind, Acer Apsire One, Samsung NC10 and Asus EEE PC S101, offer lower resolutions.

The Nokia Booklet 3G will be one of the first laptops to feature Microsoft’s Windows 7 OS. The heart of this netbook consists of the Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz processor. Like most of the other netbooks, this one too has a 1GB RAM. The hard drive space is 120GB. An SD card reader has been integrated for expanding memory. This ultra-portable PC is capable of high broadband speeds; thanks to its 3G ability. WiFi compatibility is offered too. A SIM card slot is available in this netbook for mobile broadband access. The Nokia Booklet 3G 10” Netbook has been designed for mobility. It weighs just 1.25kg and offers a sufficiently long battery life to last the whole day. Nokia promises a life of 12 hours. The laptop price is £500. It will soon be available for pre-order and stocks, with maybe special laptop offers, are expected in the market by the end of this year.
