Dell Adamo Desire Notebook

dell-adamo-desire-notebook - LaptopReviews.org.ukThe Dell Adamo Desire Notebook was one of the 2 Adamo laptops to have undergone an internal renovation, the other being the Dell Adamo Admire Notebook. The Dell Adamo Desire has surely been pumped with more muscles, to make it a powerful workhorse.

This notebook is equipped with a 13.4″ WLED widescreen HD display, which is capable of 720p playback. Processing is boosted by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor which has a clock speed of 2.1GHz. This is backed up by a 4GB DDR3 RAM. A Solid State drive has been incorporated in this machine too, just like the Adamo Admire. However, the capacity is higher. While the Admire housed a 128GB SSD, the Desire packs in twice the capacity – 256GB. Windows Vista operating system powers up this device from the inside.

Except for the support for Mobile broadband, the Dell Adamo Desire offers the same set of specifications as the Adamo Admire. There are 3 USB ports (with one of them being a USB-eSATA combo port), a headphone jack and a Display Port, fitted on the rear of the device. WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth and Ethernet connectivity are all supported. A 1.3 Megapixel camera is present too. An integrated digital microphone has also been fitted in this laptop.

The tough aluminium chassis of this workstation is just 1.64cm thick and weighs 1.81kg. With either an onyx or a pearl colour scheme, and attractive designs on the lid, the Dell Adamo Desire 13.4″ Notebook seems like an optimum merge of design and performance. However, this laptop ships with deals and offers that will cost you £1,649 for the base model. You’ll have to spend more if you desire to customise the Desire with other features.
