Dell Inspiron 1300 Notebook

The Dell Inspiron 1300 Notebook powered by a 1.4 GHz Intel Celeron M360 processor is a highly affordable system suitable for performing your daily tasks. It has a height of 3.6cm, a width of 35.6 cm, a depth of 26.6cm and a weight of 3kg. It has a sturdy outer plastic case and has reasonable good looks with a colour combination of black and silver.
It has a fast and an excellent Hard Drive of 5400rpm. The cache memory is L2 of size 1MB. The RAM of 256 MB is adequate to do mundane jobs and web surfing supported by a modem with a transfer rate of 56kbps. The RAM is upgradeable to 2 GB. The optical memory is CD rewritable and DVD read only memory. It is provided with an Ethernet card for broadband internet connection. It has 533 MHz FSB but is slightly slow than the specified speed.
It has a wide 15.4‿screen with a TFT active matrix display. An advantage of its matte finish is that it prevents outer lights from being reflected on the screen. It has a maximum WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
An Intel GMA900 video graphics processor is integrated in it. The interfaces used are head phones with a 3.5mm mini phone stereo, one microphone with a 3.5mm mini phone, 3 high speed type A four PIN USB, an Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX - RJ-45 and VGA with 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15).
It comes integrated with speakers on either side with a sound card for audio output. But otherwise, it is absolutely noiseless, which is one of its fine points. It needs a voltage of AC 120/230 V with the power connection through the back. The keyboard and touchpad are also worth mentioning.
There is a 4-cell Nickel Metal Hydride battery with a capacity of 35 Wh. For greater performance, one can use a 6 cell battery.
The operating system supplied with it is Windows XP Home edition and the software,Dell Media Experience, Corel Paint Shop Pro X on a 60 day trial and Microsoft Works.
