Dell Mini 1012 Netbook

The Dell Mini 1012 Netbook is an ultraportable entertainer. These two adjectives – “ultraportable” and “entertainer” have in-depth meaning in them. “Ultraportable” not just refers to the light-weight of 1.4kg, but also emphasizes on the Dell Mini 1012′s long battery life of 9 hours (as claimed). So a whole day out will neither exhaust you nor this netbook! Coming to the “entertainer” part – this laptop boasts a high definition 10″ display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Plus, it can handle 720p and 1080p (HD) videos. This device is also equipped with Realtek High Definition audio for matching up on the sound front.

The long battery life is courtesy the Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, which belongs to the Pine Trail family. This line of Intel processors were designed to consume lesser power and delivering long battery lives. The Intel GMA 3150 with the Broadcom Crystal HD chip are used for graphics processing. The HD chip handles the display of the 720p and the 1080p videos. A 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive are employed within. The operating system used is the Microsoft Windows 7 Starter edition.

This Dell laptop lets you access the internet either via WiFi or wired Ethernet connectivity.
