<description>I was considering the DELL xps 15 or HP HDX 16t but am really turned off by the excessive heat. Components fail and circuit boards degrade with excessive heat. This is one area of laptop design that keeps getting overlooked!!! I will not purchase a laptop again until I know that it runs cool. These two systems put out way too much heat and so I will not purchase either of these. The Dell Studio 14Z probably is the same. So, until the computer industry rectifies this problem, I will not purchase another computer. I believe that the laptop industry does not care about the consumer in this regard because they just figure that the person will just go out and buy another. I&#039;m sick of replacing poorly engineered laptops that I could practically cook my dinner on. If design improves, reliability would increase and the product manufacturer would only gain in this regard (less down time, less repairs, and less failures).
