Fujitsu LifeBook A6210

lap1 Fujitsu LifeBook A6210Ever heard of phone calls that changed people’s lives? Well, if you’ve not, let me tell you, one sure did change mine. Here I was, sitting at my desk, working on my next book, one cold December night when my mobile phone rang. “Hello, am I speaking to Mrs. Page?” asked a raspy voice. It scared me out of my wits, you know. “Yes, its me, Could I know who this is?” I couldn’t mask the fear in my voice. The person at the other end remained silent for a while, and then said, “I am your greatest fan.” Pause. “You changed my life.” Pause. I waited patiently, still trembling at the mystery behind that voice. “Is it possible to meet you?” a long pause. “Please?” “Yes” said I, without realising what I was saying. This is how I met Chris. His entry into my life changed it from the roots. He is an eccentric. His persona is totally different from his raspy, cold voice. He doesn’t talk much, but is smart as a whip.table Fujitsu LifeBook A6210

To me, life was just about writing, earning fame and money, friends and family. But, Chris made me see things that I had failed to see. Right now, I’m sitting at the far end of Barney’s Kitchen, waiting for Chris. And, hey, I always tell you about my laptops, don’t I? Okay, I have with me, a Fujitsu LifeBook A6210. Have a look, doesn’t it look sophisticated? It has an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz processor in it. It is a 15.4 inch laptop with a RAM of 3 GB and a 250GB hard drive. It measures about 14.5 x 10.4 x 1.7 inches. I love it that it is Blue-ray enabled. It has a Widows Vista Home Premium operating system installed in it. Oh, here comes the waiter, excuse me for a bit. “Hello, could I have a Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding please, Pie and Mash with parsley liquor, and Black Pudding, and. We’ll have chocolate mousse for dessert.” “Sure thing, madam. In 20 minutes.” “Take your time, son. Thank you.” Now where were we? Hey are you wondering why I ordered such as elaborate meal? Chris loves a fancy meal. And he is partial to pies. Oh, what’s taking him so long?

Fine, let’s talk about my laptop in the meantime. My LifeBook A6210 has ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 HyperMemory for graphics. It incorporates a wireless USB, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. The keyboard is responsive and so is the touch pad. There is also a fingerprint reader and a 1.3-megapixel Webcam. I had an enjoyable video chat with Sam last night, using the webcam. And, didn’t I tell you? Sam is in Scotland visiting friends. He’s quite happy, by the grace of God. My laptop has Stereo speakers and headphone/microphone jacks. Apart from these, there are also certain additional features, like an eSATA port and slots for both ExpressCard and PC Card. The quick-launch buttons are quite handy and it weighs about 6.7 pounds, but the thing is, I feel it is a bit on the bulky side, and I can’t carry it around with ease.

He’s a millionaire you know, but to date, I don’t think he’s spent a penny on himself. Here he comes, and that’s Anna, his adopted daughter at his side. “Well, hello both of you. Sit down, I’ve ordered Roast beef.” “Mrs. Page, dad was up all night, asking me to read out your ‘Confessions’. We slept only by five in the morning.” “Is that so? Now Chris, why…” “Come on, Brig” interrupted Chris. “That book of yours gives me this indescribable feeling. I can’t possibly stop when I’m in between can I?” I smiled, or rather blushed. God, this man is unbelievably cherubic. And hey did I tell you? Chris was born blind.
