HP Mini 5101 Netbook

HP Mini 5101 Netbook seems like just another netbook at first sight. Taking a trip down its specifications lane, you do find a point or 2 that are rare in laptops. The first thing is that it has a high definition screen with a resolution of 1366 x 766 pixels, which measures 10.1” across. It has LED backlight as well. The matte finish of this display prevents on-screen reflections, enabling visibility even in a bright environment. The next point is the presence of a VGA port, which most netbooks do not offer. This port can be used to connect to external monitors.
Most of the other specifications are quite ordinary. It uses the Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor for performing internal processing. There is a 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive. The graphics processor employed is the Intel GMA 950. The operating system that comes along with the netbook is the Microsoft Windows Vista Business edition.
Like most of the other laptops, this one too supports both wireless WiFi and wired Ethernet for connecting to the internet. Bluetooth capability is also offered. There are 3 USB ports, a VGA port, a card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a Kensington lock are all present on board the HP Mini 5101. The dimensions of this HP Portable PC are 23mm x 262mm x 180mm with a weight of 1.2kg. The price of this netbook is €500.
