The base version of this notebook might seem like a mediocre workstation. However, beef it up with the more powerful options available and you can get a lean mean high-end machine.

This notebook sports a 13.3″ LED backlit display, which has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. This resolution enables the monitor to handle high definition content. The base model is equipped with the Intel Celeron SU2300 1.2GHz ultra low voltage processor. This can be upgraded to the Intel Core 2 Duo SP9300 2.26GHz processor. WiFi connectivity and wired LAN are both supported for getting online. Bluetooth can be used for linking to external peripherals wirelessly. The 3 USB ports that are integrated can be used for this purpose too. A DisplayPort, a secure digital slot, microphone and headphone jacks are present in this device as well. A 2MP web camera has also been packed within.

This device is home to the QuickWeb application which lets you access the internet without having to boot up the machine. The HP ProBook 5310M Notebook is powered by either a 4-cell battery or a 6-cell battery. HP claims a life of 7 hours. This might be the case with the 6-cell battery and the ULV processor. The price of this mobile computer is £480 approximately.
