HTC to Send Out Tablets This Year?

shift_2HTC, after creating a lot of ‘magic’ with mobile phones seems to be planning a tablet this year. A report in Slashgear also indicates that this HTC tablet will be making a debut appearance in CES 2010, which will soon be taking place at Las Vegas.

Peter Chou, CEO of HTC had earlier mentioned that the company might enter into netbook making. And now there are reports that HTC is making several working models of tablet PCs. And they will most probably be giving private demonstrations at CES.

The HTC touchscreen tablet is supposed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor. It is also supposed to feature a new Adobe software, which is perhaps the Flash plug-in for Android. So the tablet might actually look like a big HTC HD2 smartphone???

Tablets are predicted to rule the laptop world this year. There are many laptop and even mobile phone makers who are looking in the tablet PC direction. Apple is one of them. Dell is said to be interested in making on too. The others are sure to follow.
