Apple Tablet Mass Production in February 2010?
Posted on December 10, 2009
The Apple Tablet has already been making news for a long time now, but nothing solid has emerged yet. The newest report, from an Oppenheimer analyst, Yair Reiner, is that the tablet will go into full fledged production, in February next year. The sales are supposed to start in March or April. These reports have not been officially confirmed by Apple, though.
The Apple tablet is expected to feature a 10.1” LCD screen with multi-touch ability.
Sources also say that Apple have been talking to book publishers for the distribution of the tablet. There are indications that the deal would be a 30%-70% one, with Apple getting the lesser profit percentage. Amazon is currently in a 50%-50% deal for their Kindle.
The Apple Multitouch Tablet is expected to be priced at $1000.

"How many iPhone apps can be on the screen and running at the same time?" One. No apps running in the background.
