Asus’ Dual Screen Laptop Demonstrated at Cebit 09
Posted on March 5, 2009
A dual panel laptop has been exhibited by Asus at the ongoing Cebit 09, which is clearly a symbolic representation of what is in store for the laptop segment. The manufacturers intend to replace the notebooks with this new potential concept, and never was it designed an e-Book enhancement. However, the dual panel laptop with its shape that resembles an e-Book, highlighted by the option of flipping through the pages, would possibly turn it into a remarkable e-Book reader for the tech-savy traveller.
The dual screen device assumes the shape of an advanced netbook with one screen of its posing as the display, and the other screen changing into a virtual key-board and touchpad. The operating system that plays the role of the ideal user interface is Windows 7 OS, which allows the user to access a few business documents, as well as the emails. The user can also enjoy a movie or download and store some tunes with this device.
However, the prototype of Asus is simply a concept in offer right now. As a matter of fact, no word has been let out by Asus on a finished product, or on the least a launching date.
