Asus Launches Disney Netpal Netbooks

Asus has teamed up with Disney to produce a functional, as well as affordable portable PC targeting the child users. In the first looks, the laptop is quiet impressive with its trendy as well as pleasing design. The new design has been a subject in the student chats in the US already, though the countepart segment in the UK seems not to have got the news yet.
The trendy netbook that is driven by an Intel Atom processor, is adorned by a small 8.9 inch TFT screen. Numerous customisable desktop themes are the niceties that has been offered to the children to entice them on the first sights itself. The themes include Toy Story, Cars, Hannah Montana and WALL-E. For the parents, the gadget stocks the ever-appealing parental control feature.
The Netpal netbook is expected to run at the clock speed of 1.6 Ghz. The hard drive of the device would be anything to choose from a 160GB HD or a 16GB SSD. The devices would come pre-loaded with Windows XP as the operating system, fortified by another graphical interface layer shrouding it to give the part an unbreakable armour. This comes good at the instances of kids-invasion as well as meddling.
The Netpal that can entertain actual commercial software can also access the internet through Wi-Fi. The netbooks adorned with the graphical esthetics of Ariel’s Pink Flowery Princess or Magic Blue of Mickey Mouse can be bought for $350 at Toys R Us or Amazon. The prices for the UK market has not yet been revealed.
