Asus Launches World’s First 17.3″ Laptop with 16:9 Aspect Ratio

Asus has launched Asus F70 Laptop that is claimed by it as the first 17.3 inch laptop in the world that also accomapnies a screen aspect ratio of 16:9. This also presented by Asus as a movie-friendly laptop, which can be of good use to the movie enjoyers on the go.
The most important features of this the F70 is obviously its movie supporting ones. The 17.3 inch extra-large display of the device is a high-definition scrteen. The display is further enhanced by its 1080p capabilities. Reports say that progressive scanning has done a world of good to the television’s movie playing aspect.
More, for the ardent movie watcher, F70 offers Altec Lansing surround souns speakers that realises high definition audio. This apsect of the F70 is further complimented by the presence of an HDMI port that in its turn, offers the luxury of a connecting to a larger TV as well.
The F70 comes with an Aurora Borealis inspired style that is apparent in the lid’s brushed metal finish. A chicklet keyboard is another feature of the F70. The concept of a chicklet keyboard as claimed by Asus is a keyboard with concave keys.
The F70 is armed with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor that is complimented by a DDRII RAM of 4GB memory and 800MHz bus speed. Finally, For data transfer as well as download it has Bluetooth v2.1 and wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n. Apart from the HDMI port, F70 also come with four USB ports externally.
