Asus releases executive netbooks

Asus has designed its new Eee PC netbook by including a metal case, USB 3.0, a fingerprint reader and a complete version of Windows 7.
The 1018P is packed with memory capacity of 2GB, CPU of 1.83GHZ Atom N475, hard drive capacity of 320GB in which the company has installed Windows & Home Premium in 32 bit incarnation.
Apart from the already mentioned connectivity options, the 1018P comes with gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi, a USB 2.0 port along with two USB 3.0 connectors which are both USB 2.0 compatible. The screen size of this laptop comes to 1024 x 600 screen that is supported by Intel’s integrated GPU.
This laptop comes with a dimension of 262 x 179 x 18-21mm and weighs 1.1Kg. The price of this laptop comes to about £451.
The other laptop model of Asus is Eee PC 1016P, which is cheaper than this model(1018P). The 1016P model has the similar type of casing but doesnot come with the fingerprint reader and USB 3.0. It comes with a 1.66GHz Atom N455 processor, Windows 7 starter and 1GB of memory.
The release of 1018P model in to the UK market is not yet announced.
