Dell Adamo Luxury Laptop; World’s Thinnest?

Dell has launched Dell Adamo Laptop that it expects would compete with the other high end ultraportable laptops of the world, in a market segment defined by Apple MacBook Air Laptop. Dell had launched their luxury laptop on Tuesday with a remarkable thickness of 0.65 inch at its thinnest part, although towards the hinge it is a bit thicker. It comes in a couple of colour choices initially – metallic pearl and onyx black.
Its aluminium casing, much like the MacBook, is constructed from a single metal piece. The laptop runs on a Core 2 Duo u9300 processor that clocks the speed of 1.2GHz, and it has an X4500 graphic card of Intel integrated in it. The RAM of the system that is of DDR3 type, amounts to 2GB as it boasts of a Solid State Hard Drive of 128GB memory.
The display of the laptop is a High Definition one adorned by an aspect ratio of 16:9. Another speciality of the display is its edge-to-edge glass. Other significant aspects pertinent to this laptop are a 3G mobile broadband, 802.11 Wi-Fi, and a battery life promise of more than five hours. It would offer an external Blu-ray or DVD, compensating the absence of an optical drive.
The UK pricing of Adamo is yet to be leaked, although experts say that it would be a surprice if it comes with a price offer of anything below GBP 1,500.
