Gateway releases ID Series notebook

In Canada, Gateway has come out with its new ID Series notebook PC line. The notebook is available in different sizes such as 14-inch, 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch. Also these models are HD Ultrabright LED-backlit display types.
Aqua-blue touchpad in the 14-inch ID49 and 15.6-inch ID59 glows when touched. Some of the selected models of the new ID49 Series come with NVIDIA Optimus graphics technology that regulate the notebook’s use of integrated Intel HD graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics depending on its performing task.
All models come with 1.3MP webcam, multi-gesture capabilities, media card readers that accept hard drives up to 640GB in capacity and popular media cards. Customers can quickly access their social networks on YouTube, Flickr and Facebook with the new integrated ‘social networking’ button.
Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processing technologies are supported by the ID49 and ID59 Series. Models with 4GB of DDR3 memory, expandable upto 8GB are also available. The Gateway ID79 features Intel Core i7 processors that is supported by 6GB of DDR3 memory that is expandable up to 16GB of memory.
The retail product marketing manager of Gateway, Chris Chiang told that the feel and look of the Gateway ID Series notebooks is unique and that anybody would be drawn towards it and will enjoy the entertainment features and advanced capabilities of the notebook.
Consumers can enjoy the improved graphics performance with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics that comes with Optimus technology. It comes with backed battery life preservation for long time use.
