Gigabyte GV-N275SO-18I Graphics Card Launched

Gigabyte has launched a new graphics card, called the Gigabyte GV-N275SO-18I as part of their Super Overclock Series. This graphics card uses the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 GPU. A native process called GPU Gauntlet Sorting, is employed by the company to select the best graphics processors, based on performance, reliability and efficiency.

The graphics card uses the ultra durable VGA board, which helps in overclocking, bringing down temperatures during functioning, improving power efficiency and offering better stability.

Other leading edge technologies incorporated in the graphics cards are – PhysX technology, CUDA technology and SLI technology. The PhysX technology aims at making games look very real, by implementing real time physics. For example, explosions with dust and debris being thrown around, movement of clothes etc, are supposed to be look in accordance with laws of physics. The CUDA technology helps in boosting up speed of power greedy applications. The SLI technology also adds to scaling up of performance by allowing 2 graphics cards to run simultaneously.
