Google Chrome OS – Its Get Set Go Within 7 Days?

The much spoken about operating system, that might steal the limelight off Windows 7 – the Google Chrome OS, is expected to release within a week’s time. The new software platform will most probably be available for download in the next 7 days.

So what can we expect? Rumours have it that driver support might not be smooth. Whatever be the case, an easy to download and ready to go OS will be something that will be appreciated by consumers around the world. This will also determine the success of the OS.

Earlier, Google had mentioned that they have tied up with companies like Acer, HP, Asus, Lenovo, Texas Instruments, Adobe, Toshiba, Freescale and Qualcomm for executing the project. There are reports that the EEE PC netbooks will be ready to feature the new OS too.
