HP releases 11.6″ AMD ultraportable notebook

HP has released its new laptop with 11.6″ screen size with the ‘Nile’ platform that comes with integrated Radeon HD 4225 graphics and a low power Neo CPU.
The platform comes with 45nm ‘Geneva’ CPU which gives more performance by consuming less power. The six cell battery comes with seven hours of life. This laptop is combined with Radeon graphics to support light gaming and HD content.
The specifications of this laptop include 11.6″ LED backlit display, a 92 percent full-size keyboard, 802.11n WiFi with Bluetooth that is optional, HDMI output and a 92 percent full-size keyboard. Some of the options include solid state or traditional drives, up to 5GB of RAM, choices of single or dual core Turion II Neo and Athlon II Neo CPUs and mobile broadband. The laptop weighs about 1.47Kg measuring 0.78in at the front. The price of the product with the base configuration starts at around £350 including VAT.
This laptop is available in the US and is soon expected to be released in the UK market.
