Inexpensive Vaio NW Blu-Ray Laptop Launched by Sony

Sony Vaio NW Laptop has been just rolled out by Sony. The Vaio NW is a 15.5 inch laptop that is affordable surprisingly. The prime attractions of the new model are; a Blue-ray optical drive, enhanced storage, high-capacity RAM and a discrete graphic card in the form of ATI Radeon Mobility. All these collectively compliments a fast Core 2 Duo P7350 2GHz processor from Intel.
However, the most exciting part of the package is its price tag; especially for Sony’s inclination towards fixing high prices for its laptop models. Here, the fresh model comes with a price tag of just $880 in the US, which can be considered as a token of generosity from the Japanese electronic and computer giant.
The 15.5 inch LCD screen of the Vaio NW is blessed by WXGA display resolution, and would feature XBRITE technology. The graphic chip of the device is complimented by a VRAM of 512MB, and its hard drive is 400GB memory contraption that runs at a rate of 5400RPM. The DDR2 memory of the Vaio NW is 2GB and the connectivity part of it is fortified with Wi-Fi.
Additional features of the laptop includes 4 x BD ROM drive, a webcam, and a 5.5 hour life yielding Li-ion battery. Other connectivity attractions of the Vaio NW are; HDMI, a standard VGA and memory expansion slots that suit SD cards, Express cards and Memory Stick Pro of Sony. The laptop comes in three colours to choose from; rattan white, birch white and walnut brown.
