MSI X-Slim X600 Pro Notebook – Slim, Yet Feature-Rich

The MSI X-Slim X600 Pro Notebook is a new addition to the X-Slim family of MSI. Super-slim and attractive, this notebook is 2.5cm at its thickest. This does not beat the Apple MacBook Air and hence the Dell Adamo XPS as well. However, the set of features and specifications on-board the MSI X-Slim X600 Pro is quite impressive. It is quite similar to the MSI X-Slim X600, but has an anti-scratch coating, silver lining and MSI’s new chiclet keyboard.

This is a 15.6″ LCD device. The ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics processor has been employed. An Intel Core 2 Duo CULV processor powers up this workstation from the inside. A 4GB DDR2 RAM is housed within. A maximum of 640GB can be accommodated in this laptop. The Windows 7 OS is featured. Either a DVD SuperMulti burner or a Blu Ray drive can be opted for integration.

Other connectors present are an eSATA/USB combo port, a 2-in-1 card reader, an HDMI port and audio jacks. A 1.3MP web camera is built in too. There are 4 speakers packed in this device as well. WiFi, wired  Ethernet and Bluetooth are all supported by this notebook. WiMAX connectivity is optionally offered. This 2.1kg device is powered by a 6-cell battery. MSI’s Eco engine promises to deliver a long life, the exact figures though have not been mentioned. Pricing and availability are yet to be announced too.
