The Nokia Booklet 3G Has Been Priced

nokia-booklet-3g-netbook - LaptopReviews.org.ukNokia Booklet 3G, the first netbook from the mobile phone maker, has been priced and planned for a release in January 2010. It had earlier been speculated to cost about £500. However, the actual price has shot past this value, with a fairly large margin. Well, embrace yourself, while we reveal this to you… It is £650!

This is much more expensive than many of the bigger sized notebooks available today. However, Nokia does deserve the credit, for its innovation in both the design and the offerings. Nokia has hit the bulls eye, at the very first attempt, by fitting the Booklet 3G with 3G, A-GPS, a HDMI port, a powerful battery that is supposed to last 12 hours and an SMS feature. The 10.1″ screen of this device is anti-reflective and offers a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, which is higher than that of many similar sized netbooks.

The other specs offered include the Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz processor, Windows 7 OS, 1GB of RAM, 120GB of hard drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3 USB ports, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, a multimedia player, an SD card reader and a 1.3MP video-chat camera.
