The Samsung R620 16 inch Laptop with a Blue-ray drive and a RAM of 4GB has been launched in the UK market. The 16 inch TFT-LCD of the laptop has been armed with a screen aspect ratio of 16:9. The widescreen aspect ratio rendered to the laptop’s display in its turn more than says that the device could be launched with movie viewing in mind predominantly.
A HDMI out that allows the user to connect the device to a television, too stands to substantiate the movie laptop theory. According to the general manager of the computer systems division of Samsung, Philip Brown, In spite of its lightness, it still delivers tremendously to the multi-media experience of high-definition kind, owing to its effective combination of a pure 16:9 aspect ratio and a powerful graphics capability.
The R620 will be available in the UK from July at an initial price of GBP 699.
