Shipments of notebooks in Q3 to be slower than the slowest

Normally the third quarter of the year is the strongest part of the year for sales. But according to Digitimes, this year the shipment of notebooks is expected to be only 11.3per cent consecutively to 49.88 million units. And the fourth quarter of the year will experience 3.4 per cent sequential growth and of 48.18million units.

As Eurozone is sorting itself slowly and the demand regaining its normal position, the notebook maket will be doing fine. iSuppli, market analyst organisation finds higher sequential unit growth of 9per cent during the Q3. But comparatively it would be 6 per cent lower than sequential unit average in Q3.

Principal Analyst for Compute Systems at iSuppli, Matt Wilkins says that it is because all people have got one. People have started buying one kit for themselves as the economy has started getting back to its normal position.

Matt told TechEye that this was due to the demand that normally occur during the first half of the year. Also the improving economy has improved the sales that has to occur in the later part of the year. However there is no other factor that contributes to the growth rate.
