Sony reveals 3D laptop at IFA

Sony unveils the prototype of a 3D Vaio laptop at the IFA event in Berlin. But Sony plans to sell the laptop from the year 2011.

The Vaio 3D laptop can also run in two-dimensional format at the touch of a button. This new laptop will be available next year by spring season.

This laptop will normally work with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel like the standard laptop.

The three-dimension feature can be enjoyed with the 3D active shutter glasses, which can be used for watching 3D movies and for playing 3D games. Also these 3D Vaio laptops are capable of displaying full HD video in 1080p in 3D format.

Hewlett-Packard has also recently announced about the release of 3D laptop with the name Envy 17 3D, which broadcasts HD video and Blu-ray 3D movies.

Specification details of Sony Vaio 3D laptops are yet to be announced.
