Shuttle X500V All-in-One Desktop PC

Shuttle X500V All-in-One PC looks more like a digital photo frame. With a bezel of either white or black, this all-in-one desktop pc has a stand on its rear side for support. The entire frame measures 391.3mm by 327mm by 36mm and weighs a solid 3.6kg. Apart from its looks and operating system, all other components and features are more or less similar to that of laptops. Also, you can work directly on its touch screen, with no need for an external keyboard or mouse. The OS employed in this device is the OpenSUSE Linux. You can install additional programs by a single click from the openSUSE website.

As mentioned earlier, this gadget has a touch-sensitive screen. This LCD monitor measures 15.6” diagonally and has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. You can work on this screen either with your finger or with the stylus pen that accompanies the PC. The internal processing of this shuttle laptop is handled by the Intel Atom 330 Dual Core 1.6GHz processor. A 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive are packed within. A 4-in-1 card reader (for SD, MMC, MS and MS-pro) allows memory expansion as well.

For taking care of graphics, this All-in-one PC uses the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. You can connect to the internet using wired Ethernet or wireless WiFi. Connecting other devices can be done via the 5 USB 2.0 ports that are present in this tablet. Other interfaces housed include a VGA port, a microphone socket and a headphone socket. Speakers are integrated in this all-touchscreen PC too. A 1.3 Megapixel camera has been built in as well.
