They showed off their first laptops the Mio Litepad N890 netbook and the Mio N1210 Notebook at Computex 2009 held in Taipei. Though Mio have tried their hands at making laptops for the first time, they surely seem to have done a good job.

The Mio Litepad N890 Netbook is an 8.9″, 1024 x 600 pixels LCD device, and it goes without saying that it has been equipped with GPS functionality. The lid can open out flat and when tilted or held upside down, the accelerometer rotates the screen accordingly. This feature will be helpful during navigation. Along with the Mio navigation software, this netbook is supposed to guide you to your destination. The processor employed in this ultraportable PC is the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor. SSD is employed for storage, instead of hard drives. This actually adds to processing speed. This netbook is expected to ship with Windows 7 OS.

The Mio Litepad N890 8.9″ netbook features the Apple-like magnetic power connector (MagSafe ). An 89% full keyboard and integrated mouse pad are present as well. A webcam is built within too. There are 2 USB ports, a VGA output, SD card reader and audio in and out, housed in this device. This netbook will come with or without 3.5G ability, depending on the network provider.
