MSI Wind U100 Ultraportable Laptop PC is one of the latest addition to the long Eee killer’s list. It is a remarkably compact attempt from the renowned makers of motherboards and graphic cards; the MSI company. Much like the Eee, this model also comes with a choice of screen sizes though, the prototype will flaunt a 10” diagonal sized screen. The native resolution of this screen would be 1024 x 600 pixels that would make the icons as well as on-screen text more vivid than with some other models of the same class. Another striking feature of the screen of this notebook is that, for its screen coming minus glossy screen coating, it can be used outdoors without combating with high-reflectivity.
The connectivity sector in this laptop PC is adorned by Bluetooth, wired Ethernet and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi apart from a set of three smart and separate USB ports. Apple MacBook Air would definitely not like to hear this with its single USB port. MSI Wind U100 Notebook PC is nothing less than a blinder in its white outfit. It derives its power from a 2,200 mAh three-cell battery, that obviously cannot be flaunted proudly. The life provided by this power source is undoubtedly mediocre at a few minutes short of two hours and thirty minutes. The dimensions of this model refers to 260W x 180D x 37H mm and it weighs just sbout 1.15 kilograms.
