Panasonic CFY5 Toughbook

Panasonic has been manufacturing only a special category of notebooks, which are termed as Toughbooks. Panasonic toughbooks drop into four categories, which include Extremely Ruggedized, Fully Ruggedized, Semi Ruggedized and Business Ruggedized Toughbooks. Panasonic CFY5 Toughbook falls into the Semi Rugged category, and is integrated with most of the features of Full Ruggedized Notebooks and these semi rugged notebooks are also called Light model toughbooks or Executive toughbooks.

Operating System

Panasonic CFY5 Semi Ruggedized Toughbook comes preinstalled with Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2 . Microsoft Windows Vista does not seem to optimize with this toughbook.
