Targeting soldiers, Panasonic has designed its latest rugged notebook, Panasonic Tough book CF-19 Laptop. Since it can withstand extreme levels of mud, dust, sand, water and cold, the military persons can make good use of it. You can stand upon it, pour water on it, and even drop it violently; but you cannot find out even a scratch mark on it. It is even shrouded by the historical feat of saving the life of an allies’ soldier in Iraq, when the operation Desert Storm was at its climax.
Tough Design
The grey chassis of this notebook asserts that it is specifically designed for military. The tough hinge of CF-19 laptop guards the whole laptop from opening even if it falls down. Although, it seems bulky with its dimensions of 271 x 216 x 49mm (WxDxH), it weighs just about 2.25kg effectively explaining the expression, portability under the circumstances. It runs on Windows XP Professional Operating System making it immensely user friendly. The built-in Intel Core 2 Duo processor implements Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology for swift outcomes. A pre-installed 1024MB memory renders fast results as in one of the the latest laptops, Acer Extensa 4220 Laptop. But this memory can be very much expanded to 4GB with the help of a SD memory card.
The integrated 802.11 a/b/g IEEE standard lets you to connect it with wireless LAN and wireless WAN network ranges. I’m trying to find a 19 inch or slightly bigger laptop computer, and all I can find is these toughbooks. does anyone make a 19″ or bigger laptop computer? why does it stop at 17″?
