There’s not much of a difference between the Samsung X360 and Samsung X460 when you observe them isolated. But when you place them together, you can notice that X460 is little bigger than X360 with larger screen display.
With larger display of 14.1 inches LCD screen, X460 experiences you to view movies in HD display with a generous resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The 13.3 inches X360 implements LED backlight technology to display pictures in 1280×800 pixels. You can view pictures more clearly and crispy in X360 as the ratio between the screen size and resolution suits. The external appearance of both X360 and X460 are identical. The two third of the fore panel is brushed aluminium and the remaining one third is glossy black. The keypad is made with piano black plastic; but the downside is that the screen is reflective with varying angles. Both X360 and X460 arrives with the brand name SAMSUNG etched on it in silver shade. In X460, the stereo speakers are integrated above the keyboard along with a small power button.
The seven LED indicators are enclosed to the bottom left of the wrist rest part of the laptop indicating Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll lock, power, HDD activity, charging and wireless activation. A finger print reader is affixed to the right side of the wrist rest to ensure the security of the notebook. The 1.3megapixel camera mounted on the top of the screen bezel helps you to make video calls in Skype and to indulge in video conferencing. In X360, everything is identical to X460 except the LEDs. Three LEDs are affixed to the top of the keyboard to indicate number lock, caps lock and scroll lock. Rest four LEDs are placed at the bottom left as in X460.
