Samsung is now capturing the arena of ultra lightweight notebooks by launching X Series notebook. Samsung X360 Laptop, won the tag of world’s thinnest notebook beating Apple Mac book Air. Recently Samsung introduced X460 Laptop, the successor of X360, with 14.1 inches widescreen display to unleash the movies in high definition display. Samsung X460 Laptop is being driven by Intel Centrino 2 processor and ships a huge 320GB hard drive to store data and applications.
Stunning Design
When you see X460 Laptop in isolation, you will misunderstand that it is X360. If you place both X360 and X460 side by side, then you experience the difference between the both. The X460 laptop is slightly larger than X360 with 14.1 inches display. X360 ships 13.3 inch display. With a light weight of 1.84kg and dimensions (W x D x H) 33.3×24.5x 2 cm, it delivers sleek design and portability.
The brushed aluminium glossy lacquer lid, smooth and shining interior finish arrives in UK market in black version embellishing your work space. This clamp shell model opens to a wide world of entertainment, business as well as education. The brand name SAMSUNG is being stamped on this notebook in silver shade. The webcam sits above the screen bezel and you can find the stereo speakers above the keyboard in a brushed aluminium panel. The power button is also enfolded in that panel for easy access.
To the left of the wrist rest, there is an array of LED display to indicate whether Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, HDD activity is turned on or not. It also indicates whether the wireless is activated or notebook is charging or not. The LED of power is lighted when the laptop is turned on. A finger print reader is engraved on the right side of touch pad.

The lid of X460 opens up to stylish, vibrant and high resolution 14.1 inches flat LED widescreen with resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The high contrast 14.1 inch screen looks nice, if the resolution is slightly increased to 1400×900 pixels. Samsung X460 won’t let you down with this high contrast screen even if you want to see a movie inside a hotel room. Besides resolution, it is a very good screen that renders vibrant colours and deep black colour. You can coach your team hastily as the viewing angle of this laptop is appealing and can be viewed by a group clearly. The superb 1.3megapixel camera is being mounted on the top of the screen bezel for the individuals who want to make video calls regularly.
Fantastic Text Input
You can input the text rapidly wit this fabulous keyboard being the functional keys are arranged on the top most row. The lustrous keys are arranged for celerity while typing. The extra multimedia keys and other shortcut keys are affixed on the top and right side of the keyboard. X460 comes with a wrist rest to place the wrist cosily. As other laptops, the touch pad is placed below the keypad.
Intel Centrino 2 Inside
Samsung X460 Business Laptop sports an Intel Centrino 2 Processor for speed and accuracy and ships a 4GB DDR3 internal memory to increase the celerity of the notebook. You can augment the memory size guzzling a 7 in 1 memory card reader. You can simply insert a memory card available in the market into the slot to expand memory. The 320GB SATA hard drive rooms you to store your business applications and hundreds of movies. The reading speed of this super multi dual layer hard disk is as high as 5400rpm.
