The leaders in the electronic industry have come with yet another unique Windows XP Professional, the sleek Sony Vaio PCG-TR5MP Laptop. Weighing just 1410 grams, the W x H x D is 270.4 mm x 34.7 mm to 36.5 mm x 188.4 mm making it very easy to carry about. The laptop is equipped with Intel Pentium-M 1.1 GHz Centrino Processor and 512 MB DDR SDRAM, which allows a low cost double memory offer. This special package consists of 802.11b/g wireless LAN and 10/100 LAN, 4 hours battery life, DVD+/- RW Drive, 10.6” Ultra-Bright WXGA TFT Screen, the features one can ever imagine. The built-in camera is an added attraction and the package is incomplete without the Microsoft Windows XP Professional + Sony Vaio World software bundle.
The 512 MB memory is upgradeable to 1024 MB for the fast paced, complete with the 40 GB hard disk drive. The special camera has 370 K pixels Motion eye for the clear pictures. The CD ROM has 24x speed, CD-R has 16x speed, CD X RW has 8x speed, DVD-ROM has 8x speed, DVD-R has 2x speed, and the DVD-RW has 2x speed, special optical package from Sony Vaio Laptop. The display is perfect with 10.6” TFT and a WXGA resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels.
The video chipset comprises of Intel 855 GM while the video memory is up to 64 MB DDR (shared). The network is complete with Intel FW82801-DBM+82562ET-10 Base/100 Base-TX. The modem is built-in with V.90/K56 flex (56kbps). The wireless LAN Data transfer can accommodate 54 Mbps to the maximum and a range of 10 m to 100 m. The Sony Vaio Laptop has sound chips with analogue Devices AD 1981 B, 16-bit CD-Quality stereo sound and AC 97 2.3.
While the Ports On Unit is 1 PC card slot, there are 4 pins I-link Port, Memory stick Slot (pro), 2 USB Ports, Bluetooth technology, headphones out and micro-phone in with Ethernet port consistent with VGA Monitor out, 1 PCMCIA type I or I PCMCIA type II Card bus support. Sony Vaio PCG-TR5MP Laptop comes with 84 keys in the keyboard and hotkeys. The Sony has well-contoured shape, which can make a stylish statement while the features are impeccable.
