The CPU section consists of Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor T2390 which supports Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology and has a speed of 1.86GHz. DDR2 SDRAM with memory size of 2048MB and speed 533MHz has been employed. The Hard Drive of Serial ATA type has been used, which has a capacity of 250 GB and a speed of 5400rpm. A built-in optical drive fitting is present as well.

The X-black LCD screen measures 17” diagonally and has a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels. The NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU graphic card has been built into the notebook, which has a graphics memory of 890MB with 128MB dedicated to video.

Throwing a glance at the connectivity that this notebook offers, there are – a 4 Pin i.LINK connection, a DC input, a Memory Stick slot which is compatible with standard, Duo, PRO, PRO Duo and MagicGate types, an RJ-11 modem port, an RJ-45 network port, 2 TV connectors – one for S-Video and the other for HDMI, 3 USB ports, VGA connector, a PCMCIA slot, an SD card slot and an Express card slot. There are built-in stereo speakers as well, that are Windows sound system and Intel high definition audio compatible. The built-in ‘motion-eye’ camera of this notebook, offers a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. The other special buttons that are presented are the Power button, Volume Control, Wireless LAN switch, AV buttons, Short-cut Keys and Mute button.

A powerful Lithium Ion battery is used to power up the device. The life of this battery can last upto 115 minutes. The entire unit measures 299.5 x 33.5 x 416 (mm) and weighs about 3.8kg.
