Another powerful gaming workstation is the Deviltech Devil 9700 DTX laptop. It is also a 15.6” device but with a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). It is quite rare that a screen this small offers full HD resolution. Here again, the Intel Core i7 820QM 1.73GHz processor and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M graphics processor work their magic behind the scenes. The price tag it carries is €1875.

The MSI GX723 Laptop, is not as powerful as the 2 MSI laptops mentioned above. It has a 17” screen and is driven by the Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz processor and the nVidia GeForce GT 130M GPU. It is priced lower than the other 2 as well – £999.

For the budget conscious:-

The Asus K61IC laptop is a reasonable priced workstation with a 16” monitor. The Intel Pentium Dual Core T4300 2.1GHz processor and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 220M chip have been employed in this device. It costs just €600.

The Acer Aspire 6930G Laptop is another affordable laptop. This 16” workhorse packs in a Blu Ray drive and has the NVIDIA GeForce 9300M graphics processor toiling away on the inside. An Intel Core 2 Duo processor handles all other processing. Laptops deals are available at £499!

The Dell Inspiron 13Z Laptop is the smallest one in our list here. It is a 13.3” screen notebook, which features an Intel dual core processor. The regular version comes with an ordinary Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics processor. But you could opt for the NVIDIA GeForce G105M graphics processor as well. A DVD drive is present in it. You can even boost up the number of battery cells, for longer life. The cost of this device is just £479.

The Packard Bell EasyNote DT85 Laptop is a very interesting laptop. It is cheaper than most laptops mentioned above and yet has an amazing set of specs. This 18.4” display machine is empowered by the The NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M GPU and an Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz processor. The best part is it sports a full HD screen. This device has been priced at £699.

Again, this is another 13.3” 1366 x 768 pixels screen laptop. On board this ProBook are the following – an Intel ULV 1.2GHz processor which can be upgraded to a faster dual core processor; a 1GB RAM with a maximum capacity of 4GB; 160GB of hard drive, Windows Vista/7 OS and Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics. You can configure this device with 250GB or 320GB hard drives as well. Solid state drives can be opted too. Wired as well as wireless internet connectivity is supported. Bluetooth compatibility is also offered. Other interfaces housed in the HP ProBook 5310M notebook include 3 USB ports, a DisplayPort, audio jacks and an SD card slot.
