Equipped with the latest Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor P7350 and Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium OS, the Toshiba Satellite U500-ST5302 Laptop will be an excellent working platform for professionals. This notebook PC has a 13.3 inch widescreen display of TFT active matrix technology. The display features Edge-to-Edge and has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
This Toshiba laptop has ATI® Mobility Radeon™ HD 4570 graphics processor with 512MB discrete memory and up to 1791MB shared memory with ATI HyperMemory technology. The hard drive of the laptop has a storage area of up to 320 GB. It has 4 GB DDR2 memory with 800 MHz speed. This notebook has DVD-SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) with Labelflash™ drive supporting up to 11 formats. It supports Intel WiFi link 5100AGN (802.11a/g/n) and Bluetooth V2.1+EDR.
The unit has a built in webcam and microphone. The inputs and control buttons included are CD/DVD buttons (Play/Pause, Stop, Prev Track and Next Track), 85 key backlit US keyboard, Mute button, Media button and eco (Energy-saving mode) button. It has integrated standard stereo speakers too for audio output. The interfaces included in this device are 1 x 10/100/1000 Ethernet LAN, 1 x HDMI-CEC output port, 1 x S/P DIF output port (shared with headphone port), 1 x Headphone jack (stereo), 1 x Microphone jack (mono), 2 x USB (2.0), 1-eSATA/USB (2.0) combo port with Sleep and Charge. It has an ExpressCard slot as well.
TOSHIBA ConfigFree®, TOSHIBA Face Recognition, Hard disc (HDD) recovery, TOSHIBA Power-Saving eco Utility, Corel® DVD MovieFactory® for TOSHIBA, TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor, Norton Internet Security™ 2009 (30 day trial), WildTangent® Orb™ Games Console, TOSHIBA Hard Drive Impact Sensor (3D sensor), PowerCinema for TOSHIBA, Google Picasa™, TOSHIBA Disc Creator, TOSHIBA Recovery Media Creator, TOSHIBA DVD Player and Microsoft® Office Trial Home and Student 2007 Edition (60-day trial) are the software included in Toshiba Satellite U500-ST5302 13.3”Laptop. It has a security lock slot and finger print reader too. Power is provided by the 6 cell lithium ion battery which has a capacity of 3700mAh. hi to whom it may concern
iv bought one of these U500 13.3″ satellite laptops real good laptop.
one problem though if toshiba make these heigh quality laptops why dont they
supply a genuine toshiba top quality carry bag for to fit this size of laptop as it it almost
impossable to get after all why pay big money for this if you can not get something to protect it and after all it is the little things that keep customers and im not happy with this situation
