Toshiba Tecra A11 Laptop

The new Toshiba Tecra A11 Laptop is a stepped-up version of the older Tecra A11 laptop. It has a charcoal black coloured textured finish. This helps keep away ugly finger-prints as well as gives a better grip while holding the device. Plus, the Toshiba 5th generation EasyGuard technology provides shock absorption, to prevent data loss during accidental drops.
The Toshiba Tecra A11 has an LED back-lit 15.6″ widescreen display with a high definition resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It sports a spill resistant full keyboard along with the numeric keypad on the side. The palm rest is quite large too. One of the new Intel Core-i series processors (Core i3, i5 and i7) can be employed in this laptop. These processors are more powerful than the Pentium and Celeron processors. The RAM has a 2GB capacity and can be upgraded to 8GB. The hard drive can either be a 160GB one or a 250GB one. This business laptop comes preloaded with Windows XP Professional. There is an option to upgrade to Windows 7 OS as well.
The Intel GMA HD graphics card comes integrated within. However, if you want extra from your laptop, you can opt for the NVIDIA graphics card.
Both wired and wireless internet connectivity help you stay connected. There is a video-call web camera as well. Bluetooth is supported too. The other interfaces available are a DisplayPort, an eSATA/USB combo port with Sleep and Charge ability, 3 USB ports (one of which offers Sleep and
Charge), an ExpressCard slot, a docking connector and a serial port.
